About
Kerwin Julien is currently a graduate student of the Economics discipline with the intended focus on International and Financial Economics. Pursuing this degree takes up time with the many readings that are required to gain an understanding and appreciation of the field and the work of the many who have already contributed to it.
He currently does research and analysis as a part time Research Assistant in the area of socially responsible investing, impact investing, mutual funds and proxy voting.
In addition he is also a Co-Lead of the Fund-raising Committee with the non-profit, humanitarian organization "Engineers without Borders NY-Professional Chapter (EWB-NY)." The organization supports community-driven development programs worldwide through the design and implementation of sustainable engineering projects. One aspect that he is interested in is bringing a socio-economic dynamic to the programs that are implemented.
